As always a fantastic shopping experience in this store. Great service, the lady at the till smiled and asked me how my day was. The till area was relatively tidy and she folded my clothes neatly. She also removed the coathanger from my Hoody the correct way as so not to stretch the neck, little things like this are so important in clothing stores. I see 'Costas Costis' has left a miserable review below stating their disgust at the staff here Not letting him have a coat hanger. This made me laugh. The Hanger is Company property until you pay for it! Furthermore it is not Sports Directs policy to give out free hangers. How ludicrous to give one star to the company based on this. Does this customer not have any coathangers?Anyway, for those of us that aren't expecting the 'red carpet' treatment and aren't delusional like Costas Costis, i recommend this branch of Sports Direct for affordable and awesome shoes and clothing. Very bad customer service. Came to the shop today to change (size) of an item bought last week. But staff from cashier trying to imply the item( trainers) smelled of detergent and perfume and so can't change or refund it. Even the manager was so rude can't even talk nicely and calmly. He keeped asking me if I washed the item or sprayed perfume on it.( Honestly, why I need to wash or spray item If im planning to change it). Seems like they looking some reason for them not to change or refund the item. Also been acused of things I haven't done. First time to experience really bad customer service,and end up so embarrassed and had tears on my way out of that shop.It so sad, because we(my family) love to come to sports direct to buy items which are good value. But today experienced in this shop (Bracknell, Peel centre) the worse customer service.
This place is terrible, I was in the football boot section for 20 minuets, clearly looking for assistance, to try a pair of boots on, in the end I went up to the till and ask the lady if I could get some help, they told me someone would be with me soon and to wait back at the boots section, I then waited another 15 minuets and still no service, I went back to the till and asked again to then wait another 5 minuets before someone came, They brought back the boots to try on, to then be asked, do you really need to try both on together as you have tried the left one on already Poor poor poor customer service, I did like the boots so thought I would get them but also ask for a discount due to the poor customer service... I was told NO SORRY. Out of principle I did not buy them and Will shop around.
Came here with my grandson and bought him a jacket. The ever so miserable girl at till said we cant have the hanger, while she continuously chewed her gum. Absolute trash service. Informed her manager on leaving the store!!
Not much fun coming here. Can't find anything, staff can't help and customer skills is something they still need to invent here. Better go next door to pets home instead.
