I've used Halfords Autocentre a number of times for MOT's, services and new tyres on a Ford Focus. Service excellent and efficient, they generally give me a good estimate of how long things will take and have a good knowledge of the cars, also willing to say is a job is better done at a dealer or whether parts will need to be ordered in. There have been a couple of times previously when jobs were cancelled on the day due to staff shortages, but this hasn't happened again in the last year.
I had issues last year had free safety check came back clear but there was a noise coming from the car so get back to them to find out what the problem was turns out brakes discs and one of the calipers is badly in need of replacement but that's not the end of it I took it in for the repairs which cost about 800 we eventually got notice to pick the car up it was finished but there was noises still coming from the car so then I decided to book it in Wokingham instead of Bracknell they checked it and said that they'd fitted the wrong size brake caliper Wokingham fixed we sent a complaint to head office and they offered one free mot which was obviously pitiful considering the danger they put are family in now I have no intentions to use any Halfords ever
This was a seamless and painless experience. Would definitely use again for MOT or routine servicing
