Lovely carvery on a Sunday, 9.99 with soup. Regretfully on the Sunday we went with family , there had been a massive demand on the carvery...resulting in some joints running out , and all of the veggies . But the manager had his chefs cook , gammon steaks and chicken breasts were supplied extra to what we had already . Good customer relations and. All was available promptly good show that man . Good food , good service worth a visit book first .
I am not a fan of, "find a table and order at the bar" establishments, especially when you are eating on your own. However, I am very impressed with the quality and variety of the food on offer here.Given that a lot of the clientele are captive from the Premier Inn next door's meal deal, it would be easy to coast and to churn out simply adequate fare, but not a bit of it. I am slowly working my way through the menu and have yet to have anything short of excellent.Everyone is very friendly and, as long as you are in the main, raised, dining area, the waiting staff are very attentive.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Food cook well and didn't have to wait very long.Leave enough room for dessert as any of them are delicious.Great value.
Best meal we have had here in a long time. It was very busy with diners and Christmas parties when we came for dinner, food service was fantastic, unfortunately bar staff was limited to 2 people and we had to wait 20 minutes to be served others in the cue had to wait longer. More front of house staff required! Highly recommended the doubled stacked smothered festive chicken. Nice and hot on arrival and melt in the mouth plate of food.
Most of the staff were pleasant, but the best was the gent who looked after us on the night and the following morning. Really good pub food in the evening ,well priced and decent drinks. Excellent eat all you want breakfast (including fry-up), eggs cooked to order. The place was clean and tidy and had plenty of parking.
