Initially seemed like a decent guy when he came round to quote for a replacement flat roof but he let us down badly. Committing to a date took some time but we finally confirmed Monday lunchtime that he would arrive on site at 0830 on Wednesday. He didnt turn up and we had to phone to find out where he was. Story was that he had a much bigger roofing job worth a lot more money so couldnt do ours and hadnt contacted us because he had lost the phone number.A big job needs materials and organisation so the plausibility of this coming up within a day and a half of confirming arrangements for our job seems questionable. As for losing the phone number, it could have been traced via the call log on his mobile. Unreliable and unprofessional.
