Finally doing this. My Worcester Bosch boiler wouldnt work on the onset of winter two years ago. I called these engineers out twice over about 2 or 3?weeks and they first suggested that the boiler was working and then rEplaced the fan for approx 400 pounds in total, with no success. - so i signed up with WBs 1year maintenance contract of over 350 and they fixed the problem which was v straightforward - I recall the WB engineer talked about a valve and cleaning. Anyway it took a short visit for them. In total I paid about 800 to resolve something v simple.In conc., they didnt have the expertise, were not transparent when they didnt actually understand the boiler that well And didnt respond when I told them the prob wasnt fixed and I should receive some refund. I also wrote and the letter cane back to me!!!!
Beware this company has taken over a good company and trading under the same name, do not use, I had a free service due as part of my contract, I booked it and they did not turn up or even phone, when I phoned them spoke to somebody called Richard who basically said they did not come out because it was a free service and they would not honour it, but they are still taking new customers, being looked into legally, beware avoid this company at all costs Boiler Servicing 24-7 were a good company, these cowboys took over the business a few months a go and kept the same name and even the website.
WARNING DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. This company will promise you a professional job at a very competitive price. They said they would fit my boiler within two days and it eventually took over 2 weeks with me basically self managing the works and having to take time off work and spoiling my kids school holidays to get the job complete. They will tell you lies about not being able to complete certain jobs they originally promised and continually chase you for payment on works unfinished with the proviso that they will process your boiler guarantee and boiler 24/7 years servicing guarantee and end of year service. The reality was I had to chase them for months to get a Bosch guarantee and they refuse to honour there servicing warranties/guarantees going forward. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
Do not use this company at all costs...took money off my credit card even though would not come back to finish the job. They were reported to gas safe and when gas safe came to my property I was deemed at risk and my boiler had to be turned off. Trading standards are aware of them as is check a trade and gas safe. You gave been warned.
From start to finish, I found this company a pleasure to deal with. I had an old 25-year old boiler removed and replaced with a new one. Alex the manager was efficient and offered good advice. The engineer Rockie worked consistently, was very efficient, personable and very tidy. He answered all my questions patiently and did a fantastic job, smiling all the while. Because this was a complete replacement, the job took longer than the projected 4 days, but I had no complaints as the work was excellent.I would recommend Boiler Servicing 24-7 anytime to anyone.Thank you guys for a fantastic job!
