Good place for a quiet stroll around and to walk the dog
Savernake Park is an excellent location for adults and children. I took my gra ddaughter who is 10 years old and we had a very enjoyable afternoon there. For the children there is a swing park to start them off. Then you can go into the park proper. There is a large lake and we walked around it. The only disappointing thing was the number of plastic bottles that had been discarded with no thought to the fish or animals that live in the park. I would give it an 8 out of 10.
