We had our wedding here in May 2018 and it was absolutely amazing. The venue is absolutely stunning inside and out. It was reasonably priced. The food is absolutely fantastic. There's an incredible selection of drinks. Above all else the staff are just incredible and so dedicated to pleasing anyone who comes in the door. We have stayed since and visited the bar/restaurant plenty of times over the years and have never been disappointed.
We went here for someone's 60th birthday lunch. There must have been about 60 people on a Friday afternoon. The food was really good, especially considering the numbers being catered for. Steak and kidney pie, pan fried sea bass and a curry, all well presented and very nice to eat. The service was great. All in all, I'd book this place for an event myself.
Very good service. The room was very comfortable. Food good. Nothing was too much trouble. The only thing I would say is there are not enough disabled parking spaces. Only 2 at the front of the hotel.
Beautiful looked like new room, spacious, clean and well equipped. Lovely surroundings, buildings all lovely too. Restaurant was good, not cheap but nice food. Good choice and quality for breakfast. Definitely recommend for a stay.
