Easy place to hire a van. Good price.Hired a few times, but never received the van required.always got a bigger replacement which is ok, but i wish to receive the exact thing I am booking.
After saying they would source a car for me on the day and taking payment from me, they decided they couldnt be bothered to get me a car until after the weekend. thank you to hertz for making my house move a nightmare.
Worst customer service I have ever experienced, no exaggeration. Booked and paid for a car in advance. My flight from Australia was delayed and turned up later than expected. Got to the office and they were out on a delivery, called the mobile number only to be told that hey had given my car to someone else as I was late (even though I had paid and pre booked for 24 hours) and they werent coming back to the office. Another guy turned up to collect a van, called the number and they were coming back to the office in 5 minutes. So they lied to me. They turned up and I approached them about this situation. They said they had no cars left even though they gave the lady next to me an upgrade. Finally offered me a van! and this was not suitable for my family. The manager got very abusive and told me to go to Heathrow and get a car. No apologies. This is not how I would expect a professional company like Hertz to operate. I write this review to warn others.
